A: Yes, the RIVER TAXI route takes you straight though “Millionaires Row” and the homes of the rich and famous.
Q: How long does it take?
A: Since River Taxi’s route is more direct to where you want to go, a typical round trip will take just about one hour, with fewer stops in between.
Q: Where do I get the boat?
A: RIVER TAXI has 11 convenient published stops from the Ft Lauderdale beach to Downtown and more. Wait at our stops, a taxi should be by soon, or like a land cab, you may hail us by waiving us over at any public dock.
Q: What is the schedule?
A: Easy—RIVER TAXI has no complicated schedule—we are not a bus. River Taxis are the only true boat taxis in the area. Just call us and we dispatch a boat directly to you. Typical wait times are less than five minutes to twenty minutes—just like a cab on land, and if you wish, we can call you back with an approximate arrival time from the captain.
Q: What are you hours of operation?
A: River Taxi’s new hours of operation are:
Sunday-Thursday 10:30 am to 7:30 pm
Friday- Saturday 10:30 am to 9:00 pm
Q: What do I do when I want to go back?
A: Call us, and we will arrange for your pick you up, and send a boat back to you, with an approximate arrival time.
Q: Do you have an “All Day Pass”?
A: RIVER TAXI offers both All Day Passes, Round Trip, and One Way tickets for more options and your convince.
Q: How much is it to ride RIVER TAXI?
A: Adult One Way $7.00 (includes $1.00 fuel surcharge)
Adult Round Trip $13.00 (includes $1.00 fuel surcharge)
Children (under 12yrs) and Seniors (over 65yrs) fares are discounted.
Q: Is Tipping the Captain usual?
A: Tipping your Captain is customary, encouraged, and very much appreciated.
